Main goals of our association are:

• education of the citizens about importance of science, scientific achievements and science communication
• adding up to the formation of future generations of young scientists for the sake of development of science
• organization or participation in organization of professional trainings, educational events and manifestations

In order to achieve its goals, NauKom will particularly:

• organize educational events and manifestations, professional meetings, conferences, seminars, round tables, trainings, workshops and other forms of scientific and science communication events, independently or in cooperation with other associations, institutions and local government bodies
• publish books and other forms of publications on science communication matters
• organize teachers and other professionals to work with children and youth in the field of science communication
• collaborate with universities, schools, professional associations and other organizations, in the country and abroad, dealing with scientific activities through projects and activities related to the popularization of science
• collaborate with the government authorities, ministries, municipalities and other local governments, chambers of commerce and business organizations on issues of importance to the popularization of science
• collect and process necessary scientific and professional publications
• take initiatives to the institutions and authorities to adopt new or amendments to existing regulations governing the sciences or science communication
• participate in research and international projects independently or in cooperation with related associations and organizations in the field of science communication
• educate professors, teachers and all who work in the field of science and deal with presentation of science communication skills, through organization of workshops and other forms of educational events
